I wandered into a website that forced me to download a video downloader called Magnet TV, anything you downloaded that you didn’t search for is likely your root cause. For anyone brave and smart enough to do manual removal, use your explorer tab (the envelope on your start menu) and search your entire drive for whatever app or program name it is. Dont try to search for it piece by piece if your search is taking too long, the thing is everywhere in your computer most likely and that is how it stays resilient. Like me, i typed “Magnet” in and poof, found a dozen programs located all across the board, delete them (at least the ones that are the bogus programs not everything, some things are just software you have like music) Empty your recycle bin, exit the search and do it again. If your browser still has the search thing, reinstall the browser. If not, listen to the experts
